Deng is now 65 years old, and have been working to obtain funding for Novel Energy for the past 11 years. She has successfully convinced her friends, family, and other companies to donate 50 computers to rural schools.

She has helped us to inspect over 60 schools to determine if they fit the donation criteria. She traveled relentlessly to areas with cruel condition. She once came back with a heavy fever that lasted 7 days. Furthermore, Deng has used her own income to support Novel Energy's endeavor for the past 11 years.
